The Central Wise Warriors basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting John Battle Trojans to 71 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gate City for a Mountain contest on Friday, January 27.

The Trojans (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Honaker (Honaker, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Honaker edged Grundy (Grundy, VA), 56-40, in a league contest.
