Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hudson Blue Hawks (Hudson, NY), 72-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Chatham upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Panthers host Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY) to clash with the Rams in a Section 2 Patroon bout on Friday, January 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Rensselaer lost 46-35 in their recent league bout against Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY)

Next up, the Blue Hawks clash with the Greenville Spartans (Greenville, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 56-47 league win over Coxsackie-Athens (Coxsackie, NY).
