In Tuesday's league outing, the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Cherry Hill East Cougars (Cherry Hill, NJ), by a margin of 40-38.
The Chiefs (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern (Voorhees, NJ). The Vikings go into the Freelance outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, Eastern held off Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ), 49-41, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Eastside for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 24. Cherry Hill East will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 58-51 league loss to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 9-3.
