With the victory, Cherokee improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Braves host Murphy (Murphy, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Conference 43 - Big challenge on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Murphy won 73-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
