Texas High School Basketball - Richland Springs can't hold off Cherokee

The Cherokee Indians basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Richland Springs Coyotes to 38 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochelle for a 1A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 20. Cherokee will battle a Hornets team coming off a 74-23 league win over Lohn (Lohn, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 11-8.
The Coyotes (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lometa (Lometa, TX). The Hornets come into the 1A Region III District 17 contest with a 4-5 record.
