In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Chincoteague Ponies (Chincoteague, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD), by a margin of 71-48.

The Ponies (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Broadwater Academy was trounced by Hampton Christian Academy (Hampton, VA), 81-25, in a league outing.

The now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 19. Holly Grove Christian will clash with a squad coming off a 76-46 league win over Fairwinds Christian (Bear, DE). The record now stands at 5-3.
