In Tuesday's league outing, the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS), by a margin of 71-37.
The Chargers (15-7) will now prepare for their outing against East Webster (Maben, MS). The Wolverines go into the 2A Region 4 outing with a 8-5 record. In their last outing, East Webster was trounced by Okolona (Okolona, MS), 68-62, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Winona for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 21. Eupora will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 64-46 league loss to Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-10.
