In Tuesday's league outing, the Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR), by a margin of 62-36.
The Lancers (14-1) will now prepare for their outing against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets go into the 5A Midwestern outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, Crater was trounced by North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 75-63, in a league outing.
The Millers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Marist for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20. Springfield will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 66-35 league win over North Bend (North Bend, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 6-9.
