Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Clint Lions (Clint, TX), 39-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Rangers host Bowie (El Paso, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 8-13. Bowie lost 45-39 in their recent non-league bout against Cathedral (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, January 20. Clint will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 3-21 record after their 61-52 league win over San Elizario (San Elizario, TX).
