Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ), 76-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Colonia upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to St. Joseph (Metuchen, NJ) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-3. St. Joseph lost 66-62 in their recent non-league bout against St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ)

Next up, the Hawks play the Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. J.P. Stevens will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 74-41 league loss to South River (South River, NJ).
