Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Colts Neck Cougars (Colts Neck, NJ), 67-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Rumson-Fair Haven upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Middletown South won 50-42 in their recent non-league bout against Howell (Farmingdale, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) in a Shore A - Central bout, on Friday, January 20. Colts Neck will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bucs go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 71-61 non-league loss to Middletown North (Middletown, NJ).
