Texas High School Basketball - Rankin trounces Comstock

The Rankin Red Devils (Rankin, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Comstock Panthers (Comstock, TX), 83-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Red Devils (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Iraan (Iraan, TX). The Braves go into the 1A Region II District 10 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Iraan was trounced by Buena Vista (Imperial, TX), 52-49, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they host Marathon for a 1A Region II District 10 test on Friday, January 20. Comstock will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Sanderson (Sanderson, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
