The Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) basketball nipped the host Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS), 49-46 in Wednesday's league test.

The Warriors (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Biggersville got by Thrasher (Booneville, MS), 74-33, in a league test.

The Braves now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Shannon for a 4A Region 1 test on Saturday, January 21. Tishomingo County will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 61-59 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-5.
