Nebraska High School Basketball - Dorchester ripped by Cross County

The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Dorchester Longhorns to 24 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Giltner for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Cross County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to East Butler (Brainard, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 3-8.

The Longhorns (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Shelby-Rising City was routed by David City (David City, NE), 73-31, in a non-league contest.
