Alabama High School Basketball - Slocomb knocked off by Dale County

The Dale County Warriors basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Slocomb Red Tops to 59 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emmanuel Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Dale County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 51-33 non-league loss to Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 0-19.

The Red Tops (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Andalusia (Andalusia, AL). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Area 3 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Andalusia was defeated by Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL), 47-45, in a non-league contest.
