Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), 87-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Saugus upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Sachems host Swampscott (Swampscott, MA) to clash with the Big Blue in a Northeastern - Small bout on Friday, January 20. The Big Blue go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Swampscott lost 60-57 in their recent league bout against Winthrop (Winthrop, MA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Gloucester Fishermen (Gloucester, MA) in a Northeastern - Small bout, on Friday, January 20. Danvers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Fishermen go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 68-47 non-league win over Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA).
