The New London Tigers (New London, IA) basketball felled the host Danville Bears (Danville, IA), 53-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA). The Crusaders go into the SEI - South test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, Holy Trinity Catholic thwarted Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA), 55-50, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame for a SEI - South test on Friday, January 20. Danville will encounter a Nikes squad coming off a 71-40 league win over Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Nikes record now stands at 7-3.
