Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), 48-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Darlington upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Redbirds host Cuba City (Cuba City, WI) to play the Cubans in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Friday, January 20. The Cubans go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Cuba City won 89-56 in their recent league bout against Riverdale (Muscoda, WI)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Boscobel Bulldogs (Boscobel, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout, on Friday, January 20. Fennimore will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 73-43 league loss to Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI).
