Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Derry trounces Ligonier Valley

The Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA), 63-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers go into the WPIAL 3A 3 test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Deer Lakes walloped Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA), 97-35, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Deer Lakes for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Friday, January 20. Ligonier Valley will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 53-51 league win over Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-6.
