Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 56-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waterloo Christian upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Regents host Clarksville (Clarksville, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Clarksville lost 66-33 in their recent non-league bout against Crestwood (Cresco, IA)

Next up, the Dons play the Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA) in a Iowa Star bout, on Friday, January 20. Don Bosco will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 83-52 league loss to Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA).
