East Hamilton Hurricanes (Ooltewah, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hixson Wildcats (Hixson, TN), 83-45 in a league bout.

With the win, East Hamilton upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Hurricanes host Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN) to clash with the Trojans in a 3A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the CSTHEA Patriots Patriots (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Hixson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-16 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 70-60 non-league win over Apostolic Christian (Knoxville, TN).
