The Edison Wildcats topped the visiting East Palestine Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 58-49 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Beaver Beavers (Lisbon, OH) in a Buckeye 8 game, on Friday, January 20. Edison will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Beavers enter the game with a 6-7 record after their 61-49 league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH).
With the defeat, East Palestine moves to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH) to battle the Eagles in a Eastern Ohio contest on Friday, January 20. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-3. Valley Christian lost 59-25 in their recent non-league contest against Lowellville (Lowellville, OH)
