Kinston Bulldogs (Kinston, AL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elba Tigers (Elba, AL), 69-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kinston upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Brantley (Brantley, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Area 2 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 12-2. Brantley won 70-63 in their recent non-league bout against Luverne (Luverne, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Florala Wildcats (Florala, AL) in a 1A Area 2 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Elba will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 65-16 league win over Houston County (Columbia, AL).
