Texas High School Basketball - Ferris topped by Kennedale

The Kennedale Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Ferris Yellowjackets to 43 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Venus for a 4A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, January 20. Kennedale will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-44 league loss to Godley (Godley, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-20.

The Yellowjackets (15-11) will now prepare for their contest against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Indians come into the 4A Region II District 10 contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Alvarado was defeated by Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 60-53, in a league contest.
