The Laurel Spartans basketball team (Laurel, MD), was nudged 54-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD)
The Jaguars now possess a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bladensburg for a Prince George's County 4A battle on Tuesday, January 24. Flowers will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 58-48 league loss to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-4.
The Spartans (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-11 record.
