Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS), 64-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Forrest County Agricultural upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Aggies travel to Columbia (Columbia, MS) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region 7 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Columbia lost 61-44 in their recent league bout against Lawrence County (Monticello, MS)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Sumrall Bobcats (Sumrall, MS) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Purvis will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 73-26 league win over Poplarville (Poplarville, MS).
