Illinois High School Basketball - Gallatin County can't hold off Norris City-Omaha-Enfield

The Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Gallatin County Hawks to 49 in the Fighting Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fighting Cardinals now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edwards County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Norris City-Omaha-Enfield will battle a Lions team coming off a 61-37 league loss to Eldorado (Eldorado, IL). The Lions record now stands at 4-14.
The Hawks (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL). The Cougars enter the Greater Egyptian contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Hardin County was nudged by Pope County (Golconda, IL), 50-33, in a league contest.
