In Tuesday's league outing, the Loris Lions (Loris, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), by a count of 82-58.
The Lions (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Manning (Manning, SC). The Monarchs go into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Manning smashed Dillon (Dillon, SC), 67-60, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Aynor for a AAA Region 7 outing on Friday, January 20. Georgetown will clash with a Blue Jackets squad coming off a 39-20 league loss to Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Blue Jackets record now stands at 2-11.
