Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI), 62-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Gladstone upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Braves host Ishpeming (Ishpeming, MI) to play the Hematites in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Hematites come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Ishpeming lost 43-39 in their recent league bout against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI)

Next up, the Modeltowners play the Bark River-Harris Broncos (Harris, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Gwinn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
