The St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks basketball team (Greensburg, LA), was nudged 58-51 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Glen Oaks Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Panthers now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkview Baptist for a 3A District 6 battle on Friday, January 20. Glen Oaks will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over East Feliciana (Jackson, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.
The Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Wolverines come into the 2A District 7 battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Northlake Christian edged Pearl River (Pearl River, LA), 50-48, in a non-league battle.
