The South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) basketball nipped the host Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL), 43-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Storm (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals go into the Upstate Eight test with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Larkin held off Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 82-52, in a league outing.
The Raiders now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Chicago for a Upstate Eight outing on Thursday, January 19.
