Gorham Huskies (Gorham, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lin-Wood Lumberjacks (Lincoln, NH), 61-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Gorham upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Huskies host Woodsville (Woodsville, NH) to play the Engineers in a Division IV bout on Thursday, January 19. The Engineers come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Woodsville won 67-39 in their recent non-league bout against Mascenic Regional (New Ipswich, NH)

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Groveton Eagles (Groveton, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Monday, January 23. Lin-Wood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
