Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles (Chattanooga, TN), 57-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Chattanooga, TN) to clash with the Patriots in a 2A District 4 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences won 55-49 in their recent league bout against Polk County (Benton, TN)

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers (Chattanooga, TN) in a Division II-A East District 2 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Grace Baptist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 75-49 league win over St. Andrews-Sewanee (Sewanee, TN).
