The Grant Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Tioga Indians to 65 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neville for a 4A District 2 contest on Friday, January 20. Grant will meet a Tigers team coming off a 60-52 non-league loss to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-11.

The Indians (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Patriots enter the 4A District 2 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Franklin Parish was nudged by Peabody (Alexandria, LA), 63-45, in a league contest.
