Texas High School Basketball - Valley Mills nips Hamilton

Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs (Hamilton, TX), 45-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Mills upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Itasca (Itasca, TX) to play the Wampus Cats in a 2A Region II District 12 bout on Friday, January 27. The Wampus Cats go into the bout with a record of 11-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 20. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 6-20 record after their 61-35 league loss to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX).
