California High School Basketball - Hemet holds off Orange Vista

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA) and the visiting Orange Vista Coyotes (Perris, CA), saw Hemet's basketball squad hold off Orange Vista by a tally of 54-48.

With the victory, Hemet improves its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA) to encounter the Titans in a Sunbelt test on Thursday, January 19. The Titans go into the test with a record of 16-5. Temescal Canyon won 60-31 in their recent non-league test against Elsinore (Wildomar, CA)

The Coyotes now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they travel to Valley View for a Sunbelt test on Thursday, January 19. Orange Vista will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 56-54 league loss to Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 15-7.
