Arizona High School Basketball - St. John Paul II Catholic overwhelmed by Heritage Academy

The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions basketball team (Avondale, AZ), was overwhelmed 70-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ)

The Heroes now possess a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kingman Academy for a 2A West battle on Thursday, January 19. Heritage Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-55 league loss to Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 7-10.

The Lions (1-19) will now prepare for their battle against Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ). The Crimson Knights come into the 2A West battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Trivium Prep trounced NFL Yet Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 73-54, in a league battle.
