The Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Statesville Greyhounds (Statesville, NC), 84-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Red Tornadoes (16-1) will now prepare for their test against East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Mustangs go into the 3A Conference 51 test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, East Lincoln was trounced by North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 68-61, in a league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host North Lincoln for a 3A Conference 51 test on Friday, January 20. Statesville will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 68-61 league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Knights record now stands at 12-4.
