In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Fort Madison, IA) basketball squad edged the host Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA), by a count of 55-50.

The Crusaders (5-10) will now prepare for their outing against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers go into the SEI - South outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, New London held off Danville (Danville, IA), 53-37, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Burlington for a non-league outing on Friday, January 20. Mediapolis will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 61-46 non-league win over Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-0.
