Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) and the host Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA), saw Honaker's basketball squad wallop Hurley by a count of 70-40.

With the victory, Honaker upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Grundy (Grundy, VA) to play the Golden Wave in a Black Diamond challenge on Friday, January 20. The Golden Wave come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Rebels play the Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Hurley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 54-42 non-league loss to Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV).
