Texas High School Basketball - Pewitt overwhelmed by Hooks

The Hooks Hornets basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Pewitt Brahmas to 46 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 21-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlanta for a 3A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, January 20. Hooks will battle a Rabbits team coming off a 69-32 league win over Queen City (Queen City, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 17-6.
The Brahmas (2-21) will now prepare for their contest against Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Dragons come into the 3A Region II District 14 contest with a 11-15 record. In their last contest, Redwater triumphed over New Boston (New Boston, TX), 64-54, in a league contest.
