The Manawa Wolves basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds to 48 in the Wolves non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weyauwega-Fremont for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Manawa will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 67-64 league win over Amherst (Amherst, WI). The Warhawks record now stands at 7-4.

The Thunderbirds (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Menominee Indian (Keshena, WI). The Eagles come into the Central Wisconsin - East contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Menominee Indian edged Bonduel (Bonduel, WI), 74-66, in a league contest.
