The North Central Thunder basketball team (Eureka, SD), was routed 59-21 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD)

The Tigers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faulkton for a B Region 6 battle on Friday, January 20. Ipswich will battle a Trojans team coming off a 77-38 non-league loss to Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 3-6.

The Thunder (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Herreid/Selby trounced Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD), 61-58, in a league battle.
