Texas High School Basketball - Trinity Christian can't hold off John Paul II

The John Paul II Cardinals basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Trinity Christian Trojans to 54 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 12-15 record. They play next when they host Parish Episcopal for a TAPPS 6A District 1 bout on Friday, January 20. John Paul II will play a Panthers squad coming off a 63-50 league win over Nolan Catholic (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 19-12.
Next up, the Trojans play the St. Mark's Lions (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 26-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 16-11 record after their 56-46 league win over Cistercian (Irving, TX).
