South Christian Sailors (Grand Rapids, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kenowa Hills Knights (Grand Rapids, MI), 64-34 in a league bout.

With the win, South Christian upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Sailors host Wayland (Wayland, MI) to play the Wildcats in a Ottawa-Kent - Gold bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Wayland lost 90-77 in their recent league bout against Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI)

Next up, the Knights play the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Kenowa Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 36-33 league win over Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI).
