Virginia High School Basketball - Sherando thwarts Kettle Run

The Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA), 78-58 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Skyline (Front Royal, VA). The Hawks go into the Northwestern test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, Skyline notched a victory over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 68-46, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Northwestern test on Thursday, January 19. Kettle Run will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 52-48 league loss to James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-12.
