In Tuesday's non-league outing, the King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC) basketball squad felled the visiting Thomas Sumter Academy Generals (Dalzell, SC), by a margin of 47-36.
The Lions (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC). The Warriors go into the SCISA AA Region III outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Dillon Christian thwarted Conway Christian (Conway, SC), 84-45, in a league outing.
The Generals now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Orangeburg Prep for a SCISA AAA Region IV outing on Friday, January 27.
