South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 66-57 in a league bout.

With the victory, South County upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Metamora (Metamora, IL) to play the Redbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 16-2.

Next up, the Bruins play the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a District 4 bout, on Friday, January 20. Lake Braddock will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 58-57 league win over Woodson (Fairfax, VA).
