The Philadelphia Tornadoes tipped the visiting Lake Hornets basketball team by a final score of 42-41 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Newton Tigers (Newton, MS) in a 2A Region 5 game, on Saturday, January 21. Philadelphia will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 8-8 record after their 70-52 non-league loss to Grace Baptist Academy (Ocean Springs, MS).
