The Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) basketball nipped the host Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA), 58-53 in Tuesday's league test.
The Trojans (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Titans go into the AAAAAA Region 7 test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Blessed Trinity got by Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA), 66-43, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Sprayberry for a AAAAAA Region 7 test on Friday, January 20. Roswell will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 58-42 league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 7-12.
